Tenders and Contracts
NEW - Pre-Tender Information Session - Minor Civil Works Panel!
Following the successful launch of the Regional Minor Repairs and Building Maintenance Works Panel and the Horticulture and Arboriculture Services Panel, the Barossa Regional Procurement Group (excluding Light Regional Council) are pleased to announce the upcoming launch (in June 2016) of the Minor Civil Works Panel.
The Minor Civil Works Panel will provided paving, concrete works, pavement construction and maintenance, stormwater construction and maintenance, pipeline maintenance and gravedigging works. Each Contractor will agree to provide a standing offer to carry out their category of works in accordance with their tendered schedule of rates.
To be able to undertake any of these works for the Councils, it is a mandatory requirement under the Building Work Contractors Act 1995 that you hold a current Building Work Supervisors Licence, with specified sub-categories depending on the type of service to be provided.
Pre-Tender Supplier Information Session - 3.00pm, Thursday 12 May 2016
The Councils are aware that some contractors may not currently have the above licenses to be able to tender for these works, and for this reason, we have arranged a Pre-Tender Supplier Information Session so that we can highlight both licensing and tender submission requirements. At the Information Session, staff from Consumer and Business Services will provide a presentation on the requirements needed to undertake civil works and how to lodge an application to achieve the mandatory licenses. They will also be able to respond to any questions that you may have.
Please advise Debra Scott of your attendance at this Pre-Tender Supplier Information Session via email to email@example.com or 0417 357 368 by close of business Thursday 5th May 2016.
