Most titles have 10 copies available.The book discussion group lending service lends books to members of groups in the local community to encourage lively literary discussion. Formal and informal groups of all sizes are welcome but those with more than ten members may need to source extra copies through other channels.All members of a group must be members of the Gawler Public Library and each group will need to nominate a secretary who can act as a group coordinator and contact person. Secretaries will organise meeting times and locations and nominate a list of preferred titles which will then be allocated by the library based on availability.

The Library has a coin operated colour photocopier(Costs are 30 cents for a black and white copy, $2 for A4 size colour copy, and $3 for A3 size colour copy)The photocopier also has scanning, you can save your documents to USB free of charge.The photocopier now has a new coin box with a swipe card attachment.You can either pay by coin or load up your swipe card with credit which can then be used next time.Borrowers can request a new swipe card AT NO COST if they wish to use this new system.The Library also provides a scanner in the Public Internet Room. To use the scanner you will need to use Computer A The scanner is free to use, but the normal printing costs apply.
